On behalf of the board of directors of the Hudson Community Food Pantry, this letter is a simple, but most sincere thank you to all the volunteers, supporters and many organizations throughout the town of Hudson who have helped make the HCFP the main place within our community for those who are most in need.
Since our founding in 1993, our volunteers and supporters have been faithful in meeting the original mission of the HCFP by serving those who need such help with something that most of us take as a given. This last year, with a winter we all would just as soon forget, the volunteers of the HCFP have had to increase their already amazing efforts. This they do without pay or recognition, but they do simply to help those who need such help.
It would be an impossibility to list all those people who have made the HCFP operate so successfully over this past year. From food acquisition to staffing to support, this winter has been as challenging to the HCFP as it has been to every other like organization in our area. These people who do volunteer are truly extraordinary, and we hope that this simple "thank you" will, in a very small way, convey and reflect the gratitude of the board of directors and the entire community.
For the Board of Directors,
